Week 8 — Artist — Joseph DeLappe & Micol Hebron

By looking at the art from both artist I find them extremely interesting due to the fact that they are both trying to send messages to people reaching them with art. This year has been pretty crazy already and we need to have artist give us voices to share our beliefs. I had to do some research online and found most of their art to be very positive with messages and voicing those in need to speak up in todays world. For example, Micol’s instagram feed is full of images of issues of things that are happening today and encouraging others to do the right thing. In the other hand, Joseph’s art is way different than Hebron’s because his is more abstract in my opinion. I do not know how to explain it in the correct art terms but it is mostly eye triggering. It sparks ideas in your head as you look at DeLappe’s art. I think they are both different artists with different perspectives and styles.
